Frankie Gavin

Frankie Gavin
A founder member of De Dannan, Frankie is regarded by many as the best Irish fiddle player in the world. His playing is technically astounding and he has a swing like no other. This is a rare opportunity to hear Frankie in such a close setting as he is more used to big concert halls and even Stadia when performing with The Rolling Stones. Frankie will be accompanied by Brian McGrath on Piano. Visit Frankie's website to find out more!

Palaver

Palaver
With Maureen Jelks, Chris Miles and Aileen Carr, Palaver are a folk supergroup. Individually they are three of Scotland's finest singers and together they have even more to offer. Their sensitive harmony singing is second to none and their on-stage humour and enjoyment of each other's company makes them a joy to watch. Trios, duets and solos will abound! Visit Chris's website to find out more!

Swing Guitars

Swing Guitars
Tom Watson and Tam Gallagher hail from the southside of Glasgow, not the sort of place you'd expect to hear Hot Club style guitar. However, with inspirations such as Django Reinhard, Jan Akkerman and Billie Holiday, Swing Guitars have made a name for themselves with a CD to their name and a Danny Kyle award for best new talent at Celtic Connections 2001. Visit Swing Guitars' website to find out more!
Navaar House Hotel: £10, OAP/Student/UB40 £8
