From Edinburgh Airport

Buses - Lothian Buses (red) 100 and 35 go from the airprt to Waverly station. You can then either walk to Pollock from there, get a taxi or catch Lothian bus 3, 3A, 5, 7, 8, 29, 31, 37, 47 and 49 on the north (shops) side of Princes street to Newington. It is then a short walk down East Preston Street to the Commonwealth Pool, behind which is Pollock Halls.

The best way to get from Pollock Halls to the School of Chemistry is to walk using the directions above. Alternatively, you can catch Lothian (red) bus 3, 3A, 7, 8, 29, 31, 37 and 47 from Newington to Cameron Toll and walk from there.
